you can also mix honey with almond oil,and milk powder, with a pinch of lemon juice. Apply this on your face and wash after 15 minutes, this will make your skin lighter and glowly too.

Take half cup chickpea powder. Add one teaspoon turmeric powder and half cup of milk. Stir well. Apply this paste all over the forehead, face and neck. Wait for two minutes and wash off. This is good for oily or mixed skin types. The chickpea powder absorbs the extra oil and the milk nourishes your skin, leaving it tingling fresh.

Nature’s most effective natural cleanser. Take half a cup of cold milk. Add half teaspoon of salt. Stir. Take balls of cotton, soak and then gently dab milk and salt lotion all over forehead, face, and neck. Leave it on for 2-3 minutes. Apply again. Now rub gently in circular motions and wash off. Take one cucumber, grate it. Squeeze out the juice. Add to this 3-4 tablespoons of beaten curds. Stir well. Apply this paste all over the fore¬head, face and neck. Leave it on for 3-4 minutes. Great for fine or lifeless hair, this will add body and luster:
Mix about 1/4 cup dry milk powder with enough water to make a paste, then gently massage the paste into your hair. Cover hair with a hot, damp towel and allow to remain on hair for about 30 minutes, changing the towel when it cools to keep the heat. Rinse and shampoo.

Milk Mask for Normal, Dry, or Mature Skin

Mix a tablespoon of liquid whole milk with 1/4 teaspoon almond oil. Apply a thin layer of this mixture to a clean face and allow to dry. Apply a second layer and allow to dry. Apply a third layer and allow to dry. Finally, apply a fourth layer and allow to dry. Once mask is hard and dry, wash off with a washcloth and lots of warm water.

Effective Home Remedies for Dandruff


– Curd is very popular and effective home remedy for dandruff. Keep a small quantity of curd for fermentation for 2-3 days. Apply this curd to the scalp and hair. Dry it for 1 hour and wash it off. It not only removes dandruff, but also makes your hair shiny.

– Vinegar is an effective in removing dandruff. Add 2 tablespoons of cosmetic vinegar and 6 tablespoons of hot water. Apply this mixture all over the scalp, cover the scalp with cloth and keep it overnight. Wash hair with plain water or add little of that mixture if required. This should be done twice a week for three months.

– Another common home remedy for dandruff is the regular use of the combination of olive oil and ginger root on the head. It will not only reduce the dandruff but also nourishes the hair at the roots.
